In Luke chapter 1, verses 39-45, Mary was overjoyed of the experience of being chosen by God to bring forth the Messiah, the one who will become the savior or the world, and the one who would restore humankind back to God. In her excitement, she traveled to Elizabeth’s house, who was also expecting a miracle to take place in her life too. The bible declares that when Elizabeth heard Mary’s greeting, the baby leaped in her womb, and Elizabeth was filled with the Holy Spirit.
This same message holds true to those who worship at Converted Heart. Upon entering our doors, we will greet you with a smile and embrace you with a hug or handshake to let you know that you are welcome into the house of God. During the course of your visit, we believe that you will experience the presence of the Holy Spirit. Maybe through the praise and worship, or maybe through the preached Word. However the Spirit of the Lord come upon you, we want you to know that you are free to welcome God as He moves throughout the worship service.
So on behalf of myself, Rev. Kim, and the entire Converted Heart family, we joyfully welcome you into our house. We have song that we sing that says, “There is peace and love in the house, unity and power, grace and joy, freedom and liberty, come join and see. Welcome into this house, into this house, welcome into this house…today”.
Until then, peace and blessings,
Pastor Darryl A. Burton Sr.
